First Opportunity for Live Demo of Novel Mosquito® LCP at ACA
 07 Jul 2010: TTP LabTech will be showcasing its new mosquito® LCP liquid handler at the annual meeting of the American Crystallographic Association, Chicago, Illinois, July 24-29. The mosquito LCP is a dedicated liquid handler that has been designed to facilitate the crystallisation of membrane proteins, such as G-protein coupled receptors, by offering a fully automated solution to lipid cubic phase (LCP) screening.

A Unique approach to Hanging Drop Automation
 18 May 2007: TTP LabTech’s mosquito® has a unique approach to automating hanging drop protein crystallography set-ups. This increases the chance of scale-up success as it allows the same technique to be used for both screening and scale-up, which is particularly beneficial for membrane protein crystallographers.

Poster - Facilitating Low Volume Protein Crystallography Set-ups Using the mosquito® Liquid Handler
06 Feb 2006: The mosquito® offers fast positive displacement pipetting for accurate and reproducible aspiration and dispensing throughout the 50 nL-1.2 µL range, producing CVs of <8% at 50 nL irrespective of viscosity. Mosquito’s micropipettes are also disposable, thus guaranteeing zero cross-contamination where required.

 05 Dec 2005: TTP LabTech announced the release of version 2.7 software for its easy-to-use nanolitre liquid handler, mosquito®, to benefit screeners as well as protein crystallographers. The new functionality improves serial dilution set-up for screeners, automates new applications for protein crystallographers and enhances the new mosquito X1 hit-picking system.
